Is this your type?
is a one-day workshop focusing on using online open-soure/ free tools (which are NOT specifically made for Type Design) to make typefaces. The goal is not about making a perfect typeface. It is about finding alternative tools to do things and getting inspiration by not fearing trying, being clumsy, and being rough. With students of @gdarnhem from 1st to 3rd year, together we used #glyphdrawingclub [made by @heikkiveikko and Ian Tuomi] ,mathigon.org/polypad and hand drawings to make patterns, then we reused the patterns to construct the letters/characters.
