## 1. License Grant
"NotYourType Foundry" (hereinafter referred to as "Licensor") hereby grants to you (the "Licensee") a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the font software. This license permits the Licensee to use the font software in compliance with the terms of this Agreement and the specific license purchased. It is expressly stated that this license does not equate to a transfer of ownership of the font design itself. **Only Licensees who have purchased a license may use the typeface, and only in ways that fit within the scope of the license purchased.**
## 2. Permitted Uses
- Use of the font software in personal or commercial projects, according to the type of license purchased. **The scope of the permitted use is defined by the specific license type that the Licensee has acquired.**
- Installation and use of the font software on up to [specific number] devices owned and controlled by the Licensee, as specified by the license terms.
## 3. Use Restrictions
- The Licensee shall not distribute, sell, transfer, sublicense, or in any form make available the font software to third parties.
- Without explicit written consent from the Licensor, the Licensee shall not modify, adapt, or create derivative works from the font software.
- The font software may only be embedded into electronic documents (e.g., PDF files) for the purposes of printing those documents and use on private computer networks, as allowed by the specific license terms.
## 4. System Compatibility and Formats
The font software is optimized for use on MAC OS and Windows systems. Desktop files are provided in OTF (Open Type) format, and web files in EOT, WOFF, WOFF2, TTF formats. Full compatibility with other systems is not guaranteed.
## 5. Ownership
The font software and its designs are owned by "NotYourType Foundry" and are protected under applicable copyright laws. The purchase of a license grants only the right to use the font, not the transfer of any ownership or other intellectual property rights.
## 6. Termination
If the Licensee breaches any terms of this Agreement, the Licensor reserves the right to terminate this Agreement immediately and requires the Licensee to cease use and delete all copies of the font software.
## 7. Disclaimer of Warranty
The font software is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. The Licensor shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the font software.
## 8. Indemnification
The Licensee agrees to indemnify and hold the Licensor harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from the Licensee's breach of this Agreement.
## 9. Agreement Updates
The Licensor reserves the right to update the terms of this Agreement at any time. Continued use of the font software constitutes the Licensee's acceptance of these changes.

## 11. Governing Law
This Agreement and its interpretation are governed by the laws of [the Netherlands].
## 12. Trial Fonts
Effective from 1 March 2024, "NotYourType Foundry" has ceased the provision of trial fonts. Licensees who have downloaded trial fonts prior to this date must be aware that such fonts are provided solely for testing purposes. The use of trial fonts in creating designs, or for any productive or commercial activity, is strictly prohibited. Licensees must purchase a proper license before employing the typeface in their projects. This measure ensures that all uses of the typeface comply with our licensing terms and intellectual property rights. Violation of this trial font policy may result in immediate termination of the EULA and may invoke legal action to protect the interests of "NotYourType Foundry".
