Faq (or maybe you were just wondering...)
Do you offer trial fonts or student licenses?
No, we no longer offer student or trial licenses for our retail fonts. As a one-person studio, managing such requests became too overwhelming and difficult. We discontinued offering trial and student licenses in 2024.
Hi! I was wondering if your type design workshop (e.g. ITYT) is open to the public, or is it only taking place within a school setting?
Thanks for your interest — I do collective type design workshops upon request, which so far have mostly come from schools or institutions. I’d love to run them more publicly so that anyone can join, but at the moment that’s not really feasible without funding support — covering costs like space rental, materials, communication, and of course, my own time and labor. I’ve actually applied for funding three times without success, so I’m currently taking a break from that process.
That said, you’re more than welcome to invite me to do a workshop — I’m always open to new collaborations!
Are you currently looking for new team members?
We’re a super tiny studio, and we're not hiring at the moment — but thanks so much for checking in! :) Maybe someday... If we are able to afford it. Cheers.
Do you offer the custom type design service?
We do! We love working on custom type design—and also graphic design, actually. If you know our typefaces, you probably have a sense of how we like to do things. Feel free to hit us up!
